Professional Conduct – The conduct of representatives of PQA Healthcare, Inc is a reflection of the quality of service we provide. We will conduct ourselves in a professional and courteous manner and strive to deliver the highest quality services to the people we serve. We will communicate in a clear, factual and honest manner and will promote communication between people served, families, natural supports, and professional supports. We will protect confidentiality at all times.

Professional Relationships – We will develop and maintain professional interactions with the people we serve, natural supports, our staff, community members, other agencies and any others we come in contact with and we will base these relationships on respecting and valuing others. We will collaborate with others and value their expertise. We recognize the value of every individual and believe all people have the right to be treated with dignity and respect. We also recognize the benefits of diversity toward ourselves and the people we serve..

Advocacy – We are dedicated to be advocates for the people we serve. We will educate the community on the mission of PQA and promote the needs and desires of the people we serve.

Person Centeredness – We believe that all people have the right to make decisions that impact their own lives and that supporting their self-determination will help them to improve and to achieve their goals. We incorporate our belief in person-centeredness into all aspects of our services. We are also dedicated to train individuals served that their opinions, skills, and beliefs are of value and we will encourage them to demonstrate leadership and participate in the development of organizational policies, procedures, and goals.

Community - We believe that community involvement and the development of natural supports is the key to developing social capital and enhancing the quality of life for people we serve. Being part of the community also includes having personal social roles such as working when desired. PQA incorporates these beliefs into its services and believe they helps people to overcome barriers and achieve their individual goals.
